Kitui Student Fights for Life After Alleged Attack by Lover

A 20-year-old student at Kitui Teachers College is fighting for her life at Kitui County Referral Hospital after she was allegedly attacked by her lover, a Junior Secondary School (JSS) teacher.
The suspect, reportedly a teacher at Katumbu Primary School, is accused of assaulting the student with a hammer before stabbing her several times in the head with a knife, leaving her with critical injuries.
According to reports, the incident occurred after the man allegedly forced the student to his house, where a disagreement reportedly escalated into a violent confrontation.
